TEI SERVICES WELCOMES NEWEST TRADESMAN

Training, supporting and giving the next generation of skilled tradesman a fair go is one of the priority pillars at TEi Services.

Our Staff Spotlight series gives our newest qualified Tradesman, Brayden Haller, his chance to tell his story.

AUTHOR: Brayden Haller

After four long years, it was a great day when I could announce I was finally a qualified Boilermaker.

At the beginning of my trade journey, TEi Services was the only manufacturer in town that was willing to put me on and give me a go, and I couldn’t be more grateful to them for their continued support ever since.

Through my time, I’ve been lucky enough to work under a number of mentors; Learning from many different skilled tradesmen has meant that I’ve been exposed to so many different facets of the industry and because of that I have the skills and courage to pursue areas I never would have thought possible for me.

The support of the team has been there from day dot. Even back in my first year with the company I was able to be a part of some really cool projects. Their confidence in me to dive right in and learn-by-doing really helped me hone the skills I was learning through TAFE in a practical setting.

I’ve found that I’m really drawn to the work we do within the mining and heavy fabrication industries so it would be great to see where that takes me. TEi Services has always made me feel supported through my training and made sure I’ve been exposed to a wide range of projects so wherever I end up I’m sure I’ll have their backing.

For now, though, I’m keen to enjoy where I’m at and make time for the things outside of work I love, like fishing. Being able to get out of the city and find some peace and quiet is the best way to clear my head, refocus and get ready for whatever the work week brings.
